143 million pounds of citrus enter our Dinuba, CA headquarters every year. 0% goes into a landfill. In fact, more than 98% of all our trash is recycled. How's that for goodness?

the water (re)cycle

After we make our juice, we carefully separate and re-use some of the leftover water. We also treat all the water that leaves our plant, creating less waste that can harm the environment and less work for city sanitation systems. Going with the flow has never felt so good.

Odwalla has stringent standards for using chemicals and other cleaners safely, as well as reducing chemical consumption whenever possible in our production process. We're working to be more of a clean, green, energy machine.

every 12 oz bottle

In 2011, we ditched petroleum-based plastic by introducing the 12 oz. PlantBottle® package, which we craft from HDPE plastic made from 100% plant material. It’s completely recyclable and derived from sugarcane, an easy to renew and fast-growing crop. Pretty sweet, huh?

not a drop wasted

Our goodness doesn't last forever, and some of our products expire before being enjoyed. That's why we're exploring technology that uses our juice to fuel ethanol production. This would mean less trash in the landfill, and less trash is always a good thing!
